분할구도의 천재 김성로의 작품세계

화백의 작품들은 사물에 반응하는 회화적 상상과 인간 내면에 잠재하고 있는 은유적 감성들이 섬세하게 분할되고 있는 다양한 그림 장면들이다. 잘게 모자이크되고 있는 그 많은 장면들 속에는 사랑과 행복을 포함한 감성과 생각들이 한 편 한 편의 동화와 같은 아름다운 시적 사유로 조형화되고 있다. 사람들은 눈과 마음으로 세상의 사물을 바라보면서 은유와 직유 또는 수사적 아름다움을 경탄하고 찬미하고 감상하지만, 작가는 자신만의 예술적 사고와 의식을 통해서 자연과 사물의 조형적 이미지를 구현해 나가고 있다. 그의 배경적 주체는 자연에 순응하는 정서적 태도이며 작가 혼에서 발견되는 우주관이다. 그것은 바로 인간 사이에 서로 흐르고 있는 따뜻한 사람에 대한 인격적 존경심이며 화해와 용서를 행동하는 순수한 양심이다.

치밀한 친숙성, 조화로운 상생의 원리, 그것이 김성로의 그림을 바라보면서 느끼게 되는 심리적인 안정감이다. -손소운-

 

 

My work consists of a lot of paintings that contain various fragments of stories listed in mosaics.

My work has feelings, thoughts, dreams, memories, and emotions; it takes on many appearances,

and that’s all I want to express. My working process is first to establish a topic, then to organize

the thoughts and feelings which come to mind relating to that topic with the help of mind mapping,

and finally to paint each small segment containing the results of my brainstorming that,

when finished, combines all the pieces together to form a single work. In this process,

the small parts might not be considered harmonious with the whole painting when considered

 individually,  

but the right amount of diversity gives the whole painting a sense of united harmonization

that would not be present otherwise. Small parts of the world are connected to each other.

 One tree, one human, one flower, and even a single blade of grass, although different,

all consist of the world.......

Each small part of the world gathers together to make one collection of everything

connected internally. So my paintings show a collection where individual shapes come

together like small cells to visually represent one topic.

               분리를 통한 또 다른 서사(敍事) / 손소운

 

              김성로화백의 새로운 작품  사랑의 마음(Lovely hearts) 시리즈는 분리된 개체에서 질서와 통일성을 찾고자 하는 회화적 욕구의 발현이라  할까?
독특한 사유체계의 소산임에 틀림이 없는 것 같습니다.
  기본으로는 다면분할의 스케일이 변함없지만 변증법적 구조의 해석이 사유구조의 새로운 근간을
이루고 있다는 생각을 해 봅니다.
  다양한 현상은 거대한 하나의 실재이므로 분열된 실재는 무엇인가를 초월하려는 김성로 화백의 우주관이

         드러난 것이라 감상해 봅니다.
